Though New Yorkers are able to celebrate the resilience of the MTA and the good nature of our neighbors, many are still without homes, power, heat, the ability to get to work, or reach any sense of normalcy. This is my humblest of humble pleas that you give money or time to any organization that is helping with Sandy relief efforts. Now that I’ve written the above I feel like huge a fraud inviting you to see me do anything, BUT… if you need to get out of the house after this terrible weather and you want to help people while having fun, come see the following at Union Hall: Monday, November 12th @ 8:00 PM. Brooklyn Relief: A night of words, music, and comedy to Benefit Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts with 100% of Proceeds to Hurricane Sandy Relief - 50% to the Red Hook Initiative and 50% to The NY Communities Hurricane Relief Fund Featuring Henry Alford, Jonathan Ames, Amy Sohn, Charles Star, Dan Wilbur and more.
